Run a pharmacy on Finocket

What you set up

Pharmacy & medical store retail businesses run on the Growth plan, which turns on 27 modules:

Turn any of these off if you don't need them - see setting Finocket up for your trade for the two decisions worth getting right on day one.

What you'll do day to day

MRP, batch and expiry already on the line

Signed in as a staff member, open /pos. Sign in as the counter: sell a strip; where an unexpired batch with stock is on record the batch with the earliest expiry is picked, and MRP is on the bill.

Schedule H1 asks for the prescriber

Signed in as a staff member, open /reports/schedule-h-register. The Schedule H/H1/X register, with the sale recorded at the moment of billing and the prescriber and patient details entered by your pharmacist.

What expires this month

Signed in as a staff member, open /inventory. Near-expiry and already-expired batches flagged, batch by batch, including the cold-chain store.

A distributor's bill, photographed

Signed in as the owner, open /procurement/scan. Scan-to-add turns a delivery bill photo into a purchase entry.

Nursing-home bills on credit

Signed in as the owner, open /outstanding. The nursing home, diagnostic centre and hospital tie-up bills still open, oldest first.

Every medicine with its salt and maker

Signed in as a staff member, open /items. MRP, salt, manufacturer and the Schedule H/H1/X flag on each item.

GSTR-1 and 3B from the counter's bills

Signed in as the accountant, open /gst/returns. Returns prepared from the counter's bills, ready for your CA to review.

An Ahmedabad medical store that watches expiry batch by batch

Before: Batches and expiry tracked on the strip, not the system; Schedule H1 register kept in a notebook.

With Finocket: A sale draws from the earliest-expiring batch when an unexpired batch with stock is on record; the H/H1/X register records each sale, with prescriber details entered by the pharmacist; near-expiry stock is flagged for review.

(Sample business: Sanjeevani Pharmacy & Medical Stores, a demo pharmacy & medical store retail workspace in Ahmedabad, Gujarat - not a real customer.)
