What you'll do day to day
One parlour bill, three products
Signed in as a staff member, open /pos. Milk, paneer and cow ghee on one bill, each line at the rate set on the item, UPI or cash.
Doorstep dues at month-end
Signed in as the owner, open /outstanding. Kulkarni, Deshpande, Sawant and Mane households plus Hotel Rajdhani: who owes for September, and a payment reminder you can send from each row.
The plant paid less than the invoice
Signed in as the accountant, open /banking/reconcile. Panchganga Milk Processing's ten-day payment matched to the bulk-milk invoices it settles; any short payment stays visible.
What a kilo of paneer really costs
Signed in as the owner, open /manufacturing?tab=boms. 10 kg of paneer from 50 litres of buffalo milk and citric acid, with the rolled-up cost per kilo next to the price you charge.
A paneer run draws the milk
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=production. The morning paneer run consumes raw buffalo milk bought from farmers; stock drops by exactly the recipe.
Farmers are suppliers, bills on a cycle
Signed in as the accountant, open /suppliers. Sakharam Jadhav, Bhausaheb Patil and the other producers with their ten-day milk bills and what the centre owes each.
Ghee and dahi by batch
Signed in as a staff member, open /inventory. Cow ghee, buffalo ghee and dahi by batch with near-expiry flagged, so the oldest jar sells first.
Rates for hotels and sweet shops
Signed in as the owner, open /price-lists. One price list for hotels and sweet shops, another for the parlour, applied when the invoice is raised.
A Kolhapur milk collection centre that knows what the plant owes and what a kilo of paneer costs
Before: Farmers paid from a register, the plant's ten-day payment never checked against the milk sent, and doorstep households reminded only when someone remembered.
With Finocket: Farmers are suppliers billed on a cycle; plant invoices are matched to its payments in the bank; paneer and ghee runs draw the bought milk; every household's month-end bill sits on the outstanding list with a reminder.
(Sample business: Vrundavan Dudh Sankalan Kendra, a demo dairy & milk collection workspace in Kolhapur, Maharashtra - not a real customer.)

The dairy screen, day to day
Open Mandi and dairy in the sidebar (or from Inventory), then the Dairy collections tab. The screen is there only once the dairy pack is switched on for your workspace.
- Rate chart first. Add a chart for each milk type and shift: a rate per kg of fat, and per kg of SNF for a two-axis chart. A collection on a day with no chart in force is refused, never priced at zero.
- Record each pour. Pick the member, the day, the shift, the quantity and the fat and SNF readings. The amount is worked out from the chart in force that day; a later chart never re-prices a past pour.
- New rate from a date. When your rate changes, add a dated rate on the same chart. Collections from that date on use it; earlier ones keep the rate they were priced at.
- Fix a mistyped pour. On any collection row, Correct changes the quantity, fat and SNF and works the amount out again at the rate in force on that day. For a wrong member, day or shift, press Remove and record the pour again. A pour on a day a closed cycle already totalled cannot be changed or removed; one you recorded after the cycle closed can still be corrected.
- Member statement and member bill. The statement lists a member's pours for any dates. The member bill totals one 10 or 15 day settlement period. Neither pays anything or saves anything.
- Section 393 (formerly Section 194Q). A bill in the financial year 2026-27 or later names section 393(1) of the Income-tax Act 2025, which replaced 194Q; an earlier bill still names 194Q. If your CA has confirmed the section applies to you as a buyer, tick the box on the member bill to see the year's running total for that member and any TDS to consider. Until you tick it, nothing is worked out; the line always carries the caveat to confirm with your CA.
- Cycle sheet and Close cycle. The cycle sheet totals every member for a period, with a CSV. Close cycle records those totals as settled; it cannot be undone, and nothing is paid. Closed periods are listed under the sheet, each with a Download payment list (CSV) button: every member's milk value for that cycle, before any deduction, for you to take to your bank. It pays no one and holds no account numbers. A pour you record later on a day inside a closed period is kept, but it is not in that cycle's closed totals, and the screen tells you so.
- Licences. Under Licences, Add licence records your FSSAI licence with its expiry, and a reminder is raised before it runs out. To renew, record the licence again with its new validity. A licence you typed wrongly has a Remove button.
- The tanker on the bill. Type the vehicle number and transporter on the sale bill for the plant. They print once, under Invoice templates with the Wholesale template chosen, you press Set up recommended fields; until then they are kept on the bill but not printed.
- Team roles. A team member with read-only access sees every list, statement and bill, but no form or Close cycle button; the screen says why.
