Finocket for Lawyers
Bill your clients and keep your legal practice's books
Log time per client, turn it into fee note lines, run monthly retainers, record the TDS a client deducts, and hand your year to your CA. Finocket is the billing and books layer, not a case-management app.

Modules for legal practices
Matters on projects
Open a project for each matter to group its time and fee notes, and carry the matter reference on the fee note.
Time entries to fee note
Log time per client with the timer and turn unbilled time into fee note lines.
Retainers
Set a monthly recurring fee note for a retainer client and let it raise itself on schedule.
Fee notes with matter and court references
Fee notes can carry the court or forum and the case number you type, alongside the matter reference.
TDS deducted on receipts
Record a payment net of the TDS your client deducted, and see the TDS you are owed credit for.
Client type
Mark each client as an individual, business entity, public body, advocate or firm, or foreign client. It is a label you pick; nothing calculates tax from it.
Client portal
Share a link where your client sees their fee notes and payments.
Double-entry books
Your receipts and expenses land in double-entry books, with the reports your CA reads.
Year-end hand-off to your CA
Invite your CA with a read-only seat and export the hand-to-CA bundle.

- Court fee, stamp duty and clerkage disbursement lines
- Automatic GST treatment by client type
- Public profile pages, enquiry forms, campaigns, review requests or lead listings for advocates
- Legal advice from the assistant
- A reverse-charge mark on recurring retainer fee notes: mark each fee note yourself
- Bill wording written for an exempt legal service: the bill of supply print uses wording meant for a different GST scheme, so have your CA check it before it goes out
